Organic Sea Moss harvested on the beautiful and pristine Zanzibar coast. This is Eucheuma variety and is very easy to use and blends quickly into sea moss gel after rinsing/soaking. This potent sea moss is a mineral rich sea vegetable high in organic minerals and nutrients. Due to the fact that this moss contains purple, golden, red, pink and green sea moss it is considered the top tier as you will receive the benefits of each type of sea moss from consuming this blend.
Purple sea moss has a stronger flavor and is high in antioxidants called anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are colored water-soluble pigments belonging to the phenolic group. The pigments are in glycosylated forms. Anthocyanins are responsible for the colors, red, pink or purple that you find in sea moss, and blue that are in fruits and vegetables. Anthocyanins are believed to lower blood pressure, improve visual acuity, lower the risk of CVD. Anthocyanins are also reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial activity and may delay cellular aging.
Green sea moss has a strong flavor profile and is rich in chlorophyll, sulforaphane and indoles. Chlorophyll is chemically similar to hemoglobin, a protein that is essential in red blood cells as it carries oxygen around a person's body.
Golden sea moss has a milder flavor and contains beta cryptothanxin, which supports intracellular communication. Beta-cryptoxanthin is a precursor of vitamin A, which is an essential nutrient needed for eyesight, growth, development and immune response.

Instructions:
To prepare sea moss gel: Rinse several times until clean, place in a glass bowl and soak for 10-20 minutes and wash once more to ensure all debris is removed. Soak in filtered or alkaline water for 4+ hours then blend in a blender with minimal water until smooth and creamy. Then pour into a glass jar and keep refrigerated.
