Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Cel-Liberation Day or the Black Fourth of July, an American holiday that commemorates the liberation of black slaves in Texas in 1865. We want to share our heritage as well as acknowledge this historical and monumental day for African Americans in the United States.
